Application Developer/Engineer - Contract position

Manasian is looking for an experienced applications developer to join our web and interactive design team on either a contract basis. You'll assist in the design and implementation of web functions that integrate into existing client sites in addition to new site development.

A successful candidate must be a positive self-motivated developer comfortable working within a small group or on their own. Our developers are responsible for all tiers in our applications so you must be proficient n-tier developer.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience developing web based applications using Microsoft and/or JAVA technologies
• Must have worked in a source code-controlled n-tiered web environment
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft.Net ASP/ASP.NET, C#, DHTML, VB/VB.NET, VBScript, MS SQL Server, Microsoft IIS, XML, XSLT, XSD & OOP methodologies
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and design skills
• Must have full life-cycle development experience
• Must have a strong understanding of SQL, including databases, stored procedures, indexes and complex joins
• Familiarity with JavaScript/DHTML a must
• C# experience a must
• Visual Basic .Net or JAVA, J2EE, JSP experience is a plus
